Travel Grants

Travel Grants Available  for EFx UCF and EFx Dallas Competitions

A total of fifty (50) travel grants of up to $2,000 each are available for teams (eHPVC, IAM3D, or SDC) attending and competing at either EFx UCF or EFx Dallas.
Key Eligibility & Requirements
  • ASME Membership: Team members must be ASME student members in an ASME Student Section in good standing.
  • Community College Students: Must be enrolled at a partner institution with an active agreement with ASME and be actively participating in the ASME CCEP Program.
  • Location: Travel grants are available for US-based teams ONLY.
  • Limit Per School: One (1) travel grant per school (regardless of whether a school competes in multiple competitions per event).
  • Funding: Funds will be provided AFTER the team has attended and competed in the EFx event.
  • Covered Expenses: The grant may cover items such as flights, gas, lodging, and food. Additional details will be available in the formal application, including an FAQ section.
Important Dates & Application
  • EFx UCF: University of Central Florida, Orlando, FL | April 10-11, 2027.
  • EFx Dallas: Dallas College, Dallas, TX | April 23-24, 2027.
  • Applications Open: Early January 2027.
